PROPOSED: that this Convention instructs the Leadership to a) call an Exceptional Convention before the start of the next electoral cycle; b) use the time from the end of this Convention to the start of the Exceptional Convention referenced above to focus the Party on recruiting new members and preparing and planning a new Manifesto, that might includes amendment to the Platform, to successfully contest and win the 59th general election;

I am not actually in favour of this. What exactly would a new convention do that a decision of the elected party leadership couldn't do? I should note that turnout at this convention has been nothing to write home about.

It gives us time to take a break, recover, reconsider and rebuild. And regain enthusiasm. In my experience in macronational politics immediately after an electoral loss especially if it comes after a period of Government that is essential. The partecipation you mentioned is I believe an example of that.

I'm not in favor. If we can't get our stuff done for this cycle now, we never will.

I would not agree with the reasons stated alone, but I am in favour of an early convention, to help shape party platform and to see if we have enough active members at the time to decide the future of the party at the said convention

We should elect our leaders first, though.
