Miestrâ Schivâ did a great job at compiling the proposed amendments to the party platform here (and posted below).
Amendment 2: Amending B1.A to remove "to 20." B1.A would therefore only read: "Reduction of Cosa seat numbers." (Dien)
Amendment 3: Removing B1.B and renumbering subsequent points. (Dien)
Amendment 4: Removing the language of B1.F that states "Reduction of the King's influence on the democratic process." B1.F would therefore only read: "The Seneschál to be appointed by the King on the advice of a majority of Cosa seats." (Dien)
Amendment 5: To add a section A3. to read "We support common sense legislation to ensure the rights of individuals to enjoy whatever cultural aspect of Talossa they wish are not hindered by laws limiting the free exercise of expression." (Dien)
Amendment 6: Create B1h- Supporting a system where the king of Talossa sits the throne securely. The throne itself is unstable and easily abolished. (ESB)
Amendment 7: Create B1f2- Abolish the hereditary monarchy in favour of a lifetime elected position. (ESB)
Amendment 8: Create B1h2- In the case that the monarchy is abolished as part of the nuclear throne, require an interregnum of at least five years during which the various monarchial powers devolve to other offices (Tuisac'h, Mencei, Seneschal, High Steward). (ESB)
Amendment 9: "The Free Democrats support an elected Head of State with fixed non-consecutive terms and an abolition of the Talossan monarchy." (gv)*
Amendment 10: "Support for the Telecomuna project of a State-owned and administered national discussion forum. Our current over-reliance on privately owned and administered Wittenberg puts too much power in the hands of that site's unaccountable owners/administrators." (Miestra)
*For reasons stated in comments, this proposed amendment would breach the Agnostic Clause, and is therefore deemed inappropriate and removed from the voting.
Please vote in this thread. Section V of the Constitution of the Free Democrats of Talossa affords members three ("3") days to cast their vote. Accordingly, voting will end on Monday, January 28, 2019 at 5:45 p.m. Talossan Standard Time (11:45 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time).
Please vote as follows:
Amendment X: "Adopt" or "Reject"
Ambiguity in a vote that is not remedied prior to the end of voting shall result in the vote for that amendment not being counted.
