I wonder if we could reserve some Cosa seats (15, maximum of 3 each) for new citizens who've immigrated since the last election? I support this.

A few things -Provincial mergers need to happen. With only two or three active people per province, it’s impossible for them to do anything. If the provincial assemblies were more active, we could (encourage the provinces to) give new citizens a seat automatically. Four provinces is probably the max. -Alternatively we could give new citizens a Ziu seat automatically. It’s OK with me if the Cosa size is not Organically set, but only if it is not used as a back door way of introducing a Real Cosa. An organic minimum of 100 seats would be appropriate. -As I mentioned before, I’m happy to host trivia nights

So far some great ideas. What can we do culturally that would attract new citizens while also energizing our current people? What other ideas can we come up with that can help relieve the administrative functions on our handful of active citizens?
A thought I had is use Ian’s trivia contest and give it tangible, real world things like an Amazon gift card as a prize. Just a thought.

Honestly, culturally speaking, we need to work on Talossan-language learning materials. Ár glheþ isch ár resorçu naziunál pü impirtint. I could help with this but I can't take "point" on it.
Thing about provincial mergers is that they have to come from the provinces themselves. How many provinces do sensible persons run these days? Fiova's up for any merger, any time, but you saw how hard the crusty reactionaries of Florencia fought last time.

I’ve been the premier of Maricopa the past two terms. I’d be interested in possibly merging with another province.

I also proposed creating a primer, say 10-12 pages, based on content from Guizua Compläts that we can hand out to interested citizens. But again, it was put on the back burner because everyone got busy.

Also, I’m not sure if it’s ever been proposed, but how does everyone feel about doing a weekly, or bi-monthly PM Questions? That way we can be transparent on our own without being prompted to

That way we can be transparent on our own without being prompted to How would that differ from existing Terps? It would be scheduled instead of just case by case. We could create a thread every week or twice a month where any member of the Ziu can post a question, and then, say on a Saturday for example, the Seneschal would take the time and answer all the questions on that thread. Plus, the Seneschal can also take that time to inform (and brag) to the Ziu about whatever it is we’re doing or has accomplished. I just think it would be a show of initiative from us if we actively seek and welcome questions in a more regularized format like this, instead of waiting from individuals to issue a Terp (or asking one of our own to ask us how we’re doing).

Françal, do you want to discuss this with the incumbent Túischac'h? I think he's feeling neglected

Seems like this discussion is winding down.
I might hopper the idea of reserving seats for new citizens.
